Artists Fight to Raise Awareness: Mexico's 43 Students Are Still Missing

In the city of San Francisco, California, three Latin American artists collaborate on an art exhibition to raise awareness of the 43 missing students from Ayotzinapa Rural Teachers' College in Iguala, Mexico. The tragic mass kidnapping sent waves of shock across Mexico and the world, and the filmmakers Kadri Koop and Daniel E Chávez Ontiveros set out to document a snapshot of the international indignation in their film, I am Ayotzinapa. Both filmmakers are completing their MFAs in Documentary Film and Video at Stanford. More information about the documentary can be found on the project's Facebook page.
